2025 Deepal E07 pricing: How much China’s quirky ‘Transformer Ute’ will cost in Australia
The Deepal E07 Multitruck electric SUV/ute mash-up will be priced from under $65,000 when it arrives here later this year.
Pre-orders have now opened for China’s ‘Transformer ute’, as Deepal has referred to it, ahead of first customer deliveries beginning in the third quarter (July to September) of 2025.
It’s priced at $64,900 before on-road costs in single-motor rear-wheel drive guise and $73,900 before on-roads with a dual-motor all-wheel drive powertrain.

While it might look like a ute – well, sort of – it doesn’t offer the same level of capability as, say, a plug-in hybrid Ford Ranger, BYD Shark 6 or GWM Cannon Alpha.
Deepal claims a payload of just 300kg, less than half that of plug-in hybrid ute rivals.
This doesn’t have a traditional ute tub, though the rear of the E07’s coupe SUV-like roofline electrically retracts to reveal something close to one. An electric glass partition can then separate the load space from the cabin.

The E07 Multitruck features an 800V electrical architecture, and Deepal claims up to 350km of range can be added in 15 minutes using a DC fast-charger.
An extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) version is available in China, where the Multitruck is known as the Changan Nevo E07, mating a turbocharged 1.5-litre petrol engine with two electric motors and a smaller 39kWh battery. However, this has yet to be confirmed for our market.
While Deepal hasn’t published a full specification list, it has confirmed the following equipment:
- 15.4-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment system
- ‘Zero-gravity’ massaging front seats
- Nappa leather upholstery
- 28.86-inch head-up display
- Dual-zone climate control
Deepal will also offer the E07 with Resting and Camping modes, plus 360-degree Sentry Mode monitoring.
The following colours are available:
- Quartz White
- Hematite Grey
- Obsidian Black
- Jade Green (AWD only)
“This is a vehicle that refuses to be boxed in,” said Deepal Australia general manager Cormac Cafolla.
“We’re giving Australians something they’ve never seen before – a high-performance, ultra-versatile multitruck with flexibility and freedom at its core. It can carry, cruise, camp and connect, all in one package.”
