2026 Skoda Enyaq price and specs

Sep 18, 2025 by admin

The updated Skoda Enyaq electric SUV has arrived in Australia, bringing a raft of tweaks including new styling, revised standard equipment lists, and cheaper range-opening variants.

The Enyaq first arrived in Australia in 2024, when the Czech brand launched the mid-size electric SUV with one ’85’ powertrain and only the Coupe body style. That was despite it being available in Europe as a more traditional wagon-shaped SUV, along with the more affordable 50, 60, and 80 powertrains, since late 2020.

This update not only refreshes the Coupe for Australia, but also introduces the SUV body style for the first time, and a more affordable 60 powertrain, which incorporates a smaller battery offering a shorter driving range, yet maintains a comprehensive list of standard equipment.

Though it won’t arrive in Australian showrooms until November 2025, Skoda Australia has confirmed pricing for the Enyaq 60 Select. At $54,990 drive-away, it undercuts key rivals including the top-selling Tesla Model Y by thousands.

The announcement of the Enyaq 60’s introduction comes alongside confirmation of the same powertrain for the newer, smaller and mechanically related Skoda Elroq electric SUV, which will now be Skoda’s cheapest electric vehicle (EV) in Australia, at $49,990 drive-away.

Skoda continues to pride itself on building EVs in its home country of Czechia, while most of the competition – even European- and US-badged cars – are now built in China. This includes the Model Y, Mini Aceman, Kia EV5, and BYD Sealion 7.

Inside, you’ll still find a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 5.3-inch digital instrument cluster across the range, along with wireless smartphone mirroring and premium upholstery in the higher-spec Sportline variants.

The Volkswagen Group’s Dynamic Chassis Control Plus (DCC) system is now also standard, offering up to 15 levels of suspension damping.

Skoda continues to back the Enyaq with a seven-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty.

Kerb weight and energy consumption for the Enyaq 60 have yet to be confirmed by Skoda Australia. Looking at European specifications, the 60 tends to be around 150kg lighter than the 85, while consuming around 15.5kWh/100km.

The 85’s DC fast-charging rate has also been brought down from 175kW to 135kW. Skoda says this is better for the battery’s long-term health, as it can maintain its peak charging rate for longer than before without getting too hot.

It’s also worth noting that the Coupe body style is now more aerodynamic than before. The revised styling has given it a lower drag coefficient, which makes it more slippery through the air and therefore more energy efficient.

This has contributed to a reduction in energy consumption, with its new claim of 15.5kWh/100km down from 15.9kWh/100km previously.
