Skoda Superb gets $10,000 discount as new generation nears

Nov 21, 2024 by admin

The outgoing third-generation Skoda Superb is soon leaving Australian showrooms, and it’s being given a hefty discount before it goes.

Until November 30 or while stocks last, both new and demonstrator Skoda Superbs are being offered with a $10,000 discount off their drive-away price.

For the Skoda Superb Sportline liftback, this means a drive-away price of $61,990, while the wagon version drops to $63,990.

Skoda only offers the Superb in flagship all-wheel drive 206TSI Sportline guise, after the entry-level front-wheel drive 162TSI was dropped in July 2023.

At the time of writing, Skoda has 122 Superb wagons and 13 liftbacks in stock across Australia.

Skoda says the wagon accounts for around 80 per cent of Superb sales.

The Superb Sportline is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine, producing 206kW (hence the name) and 350Nm. Power is delivered to all four wheels via a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Liftbacks measure 4861mm long, 1864mm wide and 1468mm tall, while the wagon grows to 4856mm long and 1477mm tall, retaining the same width and 2841mm wheelbase.

All Superbs are covered by a seven-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty, and require servicing every 12 months or 15,000km – whichever comes first.

Skoda offers a seven-year service pack which costs $4400.
